A mid-sized, award-winning architectural practice in Manchester is seeking an experienced H&S CDM Consultant to join their esteemed team. With a long history of imaginative design and effective delivery across the full range of architectural services, this practice is renowned for its innovative approach and commitment to excellence.

The H&S CDM Consultant Role:

The successful H&S CDM Consultant will become a key part of the team, providing expert health and safety and CDM advisory services to a diverse range of projects. This role involves working closely with clients to ensure compliance with CDM regulations and promoting best practices in health and safety across all phases of design and construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional advice on health and safety and CDM regulations to clients and project teams.
• Prepare and review pre-construction information, construction phase plans, and health and safety files.
• Conduct design risk assessments and implement hazard elimination strategies.
• Perform site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
• Deliver training sessions on CDM and health and safety to clients and internal teams.
• Support the integration of health and safety principles into the design and construction processes.

The H&S CDM Consultant:

• NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Membership with IOSH or APS is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in providing CDM and health and safety consultancy services.
• Thorough understanding of CDM 2015 regulations and health and safety practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in using relevant software and tools.
