Job Description:
They are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable HSE Advisor with ergonomic experience to join the team, representing a prestigious client in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in promoting workplace safety and enhancing ergonomic practices within their clients operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ergonomic Assessments: Conduct detailed ergonomic assessments of workstations, equipment, and processes to identify potential hazards and recommend improvements.
* Risk Analysis: Perform risk analysis related to ergonomic factors and develop strategies to mitigate identified risks.
* Training and Education: Develop and deliver training programs for employees on ergonomic best practices, safe work procedures, and injury prevention.
* Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of HSE policies and procedures specific to ergonomics.
* Incident Investigation: Investigate ergonomic-related incidents and near-misses, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
* Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to occupational health and safety, particularly ergonomics.
* Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing ergonomic standards and practices.
* Reporting: Prepare and present reports on ergonomic assessments, risk analyses, and improvement initiatives to senior management.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Ergonomics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
* Strong knowledge of ergonomic principles and best practices.
* Experience in conducting ergonomic assessments and implementing corrective actions.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
* Certification in ergonomics or occupational health and safety is a plus.
