SalaryNigel Wright are delighted to be working in partnership with an International chemical manufacturing business, to appoint an experienced HSE Manager for their North East site.
The Role:
As HSE Manager the role will be responsible for managing and developing the Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems, in line with COMAH regulations.
About You:
- Must have previous experience in an HSE Lead role for an industrial manufacturing plant
- Strong knowledge of ISO14001, including the ability to audit and manage key stakeholders, both internally and externally
- Knowledge of COMAH regulations preferred, but not essential
- Experienced in managing relationships with regulatory bodies
- Well developed communication skills, able to give confidence, challenge and influence whilst being hands on and visible on the shop floor to champion health & safety
- Self motivated and able to pro-actively and effectively communicate with off-site line management
