Joining a specialist logistics provider, your rule is pivotal in ensuring the safety of their people and operations and you will be working closely with staff across all levels of the business to maintain and enhance the Health and Safety programs, contributing to the delivery of high-quality services for their valued customers. Although no previous logistics experience is required, an interest in this fast paced industry would be beneficial.

The Role:

• Promote a positive health & safety culture
• Develop and improve health & safety management systems
• Manage internal audit programs (Including ISO)
• Verify compliance with health and safety legislation
• Support directors and managers in improving health and safety performance
• Implement, support, and monitor internal policies and systems
• Ensure quality and environmental objectives align with the business's strategic vision
• Keep up-to-date with applicable legislation
• Develop and implement training programs
• Analyse audit findings and incident investigations for improvement opportunities
• Support a culture of continuous improvement

You will need:

• Previous experience in Health & Safety Management
• NEBOSH Qualification is highly desirable
• Good knowledge of current HS&E legislation
• Ability to investigate to determine root causes and develop appropriate actions
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
