SalarySHEQ / QHSE / HSEQ MANAGER REQUIRED TO OVERSEE COMPLIANCE FOR AGROUP OF SITES WITH LARGE CAPITAL PLANT EQUIPMENT IN OPERATION.
TITLE: SHEQ Manager / Compliance Manager QHSE / HSEQ
SALARY: £40-50,000 plus Benefits
LOCATION: South Kent area
PREVIOUS ROLES MAY HAVE BEEN: Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Manager, QHSE / HSEQ / SHEQ Manager, Compliance Manager, HSEQ Officer, SHE Advisor, Compliance Advisor, QHSE Manager, SHEQ Coordinator
You will have a background in a heavy / industrial / production environment. Examples of ideal backgrounds would include: Aggregates Recycling, Quarrying & Aggregates, Ship Hire, Cement Kiln, Concrete Block Production, Building Products Manufacturing, Mining, Chemical Production, Waste Management, Metal Recycling, Foundry, Steel Works, Brick Production etc.
ROLE: SHEQ Manager / Compliance Manager QHSE / HSEQ
You will be responsible for Health and Safety, Environment and Quality across a number of sites
You will innovate and work to drive performance vs relevant KPI’s e.g. improving near miss reporting, reducing LTA’s and RIDDOR’s and make sure regular audits are in place
You will maintain ISO’s and if required lead on any other relevant accreditations
You will deal with permitting and quality management systems
EXPERIENCE: SHEQ Manager / Compliance Manager QHSE / HSEQ
You will be qualified to level 3 or higher on the national qualifications framework in Health & Safety - NEBOSH General Certificate of Higher
You will be an experienced Compliance Manager or a competent and aspiring Advisor / Coordinator / Officer looking to take on more responsibility.
You will ideally have a background in process / production and may have some experience in operation or engineering, which will be considered a plus.
Any affiliations that would be desirable include TechIOSH, GradIOSH, CMIOSH, IEMA, CIWM
You will have experience with ISO 9001 / 14001 & 45001, if you have worked towards accreditation in these that would be ideal.
You will have excellent IT skills
