Salary County Care Berkshire, a Windsor based busy and vibrant domiciliary Care Company, are looking for a fulltime HR and Compliance Officer to provide a HR service on areas such as recruitment, staff benefits and performance management.
Ideally you will have a HR qualification or HR apprenticeship. Your role will include the following responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver recruitment campaigns including advertising on social media and job boards, shortlisting and interviewing
- recruitment & retention of staff
- handling formal grievance and disciplinary process and appeals
- Manage new starters including doing pre-employment checks and induc-tion
- Conduct employee performance appraisals
- Plan, book and invite carers to attend training courses
- Supporting managers in the Care Team on HR related issues
- Answer the phone whilst in the office
- Recording systems and organisational documentation must be kept up to date
- Develop effective working relationships with all employees within the service
Skills and experience required:
- Computer skills and a working knowledge of excel and office programmes
- Data inputting into specialist IT systems
- Good customer service
- Experience of working in a HR role
- Excellent communication skills and fluent spoken and written English
- Experience of office processes such as archiving and filing
- Able to multi-task and be flexible for the needs of the business
