What you will do as a HR & Learning Officer
- Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will oversee the Learning function within this luxury hotel and support the onboarding of all colleagues
- Aligning hotel learning initiatives with the hotel and company objectives to drive success
- Delivering Hyatt’s Learning programmes, you will drive Learning on property
- Conduct in-person workshops and coach team members to support their continuous improvement
- Oversee the Departmental Trainers Programme
- Evaluate the effectiveness of our learning efforts to optimize their impact and ensure a strong return on investment
- Working closely with Apprenticeships, looking after Work Experience and Internship opportunities
- Assisting with HR Engagement activities
Working hours are generally Monday to Friday, office hours, although some flexibility is required and you may need to work some evenings and weekends to deliver training, colleague social events or networking events for example.
About you
- Previous experience in similar role as a HR Coordinator or within the hospitality industry is a must
- The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for cultivating a culture of continuous learning
- Able to prioritise and self-manage your workload, you will be organised and structured and will maintain consistent performance under pressure with an exceptional eye for detail
- You will be a confident trainer with a personable and approachable style and feel comfortable communicating at all levels
- You will have a creative streak and be a real ‘people’ person
- Knowledge of overall hotel operations as they affect departmental needs and priorities
- A people focused candidate with a professional demeanour
