The role -
This is a permanent full-time position which due to internal promotion.
The HR Manager will report to the HR Director, Ireland and UK. There will be line Management responsibilities for the current HR Team.
The role is responsible for the development and implementation of HR, training and development strategies in line with operational requirements, best practice and overall business objectives. These strategies will maximise our business performance through the recruitment and retention of critical skills, whilst developing the abilities of all employees.
Main Duties & Tasks -
Ensure that HR Systems, Policies and practices are appropriately developed, communicated and maintained across all departments in line with current legislation, best practice and business objectives.
Establish strong working relationships with all stakeholders.
Ensure appropriate procedures are in place to deal effectively with all areas of Employee Relations & Employment Law.
Maintain a robust programme of recruitment & selection which secures the candidates most capable of delivering mutual success to the individual and the organisation.
Develop Training initiatives and programmes which support the introduction of new employees and the development of those taking on new responsibilities. These initiatives and programs must ensure new incumbents have a positive initiation which will provide the basis for a highly skilled workforce, capable of meeting operational needs
Maintain the most up to date and appropriate systems for management of time and attendance, holidays and absence management, along with the processes and strategies for dealing with anomalies in this regard.
Be the custodian of systems that capture the most up to date information on compensation and benefits packages for all levels in the organisation, identifying the appropriateness of implementation and proposals for impact of same.
Ensure all requirements of accredited bodies including, BRCGS / ISO / FSC / PEFC & FSAI, are adhered to as a routine part of the role.
Management and responsibility of the most up to date systems of record keeping, providing comprehensive detail of all aspects of an individual s employment, bearing in mind all legislative controls regarding the management of such information, including GDPR.

What we are looking for
Previous experience of working in a HR Management role is essential and candidates must have previous Employee Relations Management experience.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
• 3+ years' experience in HR
• Experience in Recruitment
• Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
• Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
• Attention to detail and good judgement
