An established business in an exciting phase of growth, is looking for an HVAC Maintenance Engineer ideally with experience in the building services industry. We’re looking for an engineer with experience of reactive and planned maintenance work on air conditioning systems and associated building services equipment. Covering mostly Hampshire, West Sussex, Surrey, and Berkshire areas along with some work in London airports.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Solution orientated, putting the customers’ interests first.
- Confident in taking control of the situation and putting the customer at ease.
- A solid technical background and capable of reading and creating technical documentation.
- Able to inspire others to complete relevant paperwork to a high standard.
What’s involved:
- Planned preventative maintenance andfault finding ofair-conditioning systems, generally within commercial office environments.
- Replacement of AC component parts, such as compressors, condensers, and PCB boards.
- WorkingwithassociatedHVACand buildingservicesequipment.
- Understanding ventilation plant, pumps, pressurisation units, domestic hot and cold-water systems, and general building controls would be beneficial.
- Completing documentationsuchasthecompletionofF-GasRegisters.
We're looking for:
- F-GasCert - Cat 1 (ideally Cat 2 but not essential).
- NVQ level 2 (Level 3 would be ideal).
- Atleast5years’experienceasaqualifiedairconditioningservice engineer.
- CSCSCert ideally but can be gained in post.
- A problem solverwithaneyefordetail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a flexibleandpositiveapproachtowork.
- Someone who iswillingtolearningnew skills.
- Highstandardofworkmanship.
- PASMA&IPAFwouldbebeneficialbutnotessential.
Salary £40-50K depending on experience and qualifications, plus a yearly bonus.
Working 37.5 hours a week + overtime. The business offers 25 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays, workplace pension and health cover. Call-out Rota 1 in 6 weeks £120 + min 4 hours.
