A leading food manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Hygiene Manager to join their team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the factory.
As the Hygiene Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing effective hygiene practices in on site. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment, complying with BRC and customer requirements, and upholding our commitment to producing outstanding products.
Duties and responsibilities :
 

• Develop and implement hygiene policies, procedures, and standards in accordance with industry regulations and best practices.
• Conduct regular hygiene audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with production and quality control teams to integrate hygiene practices into daily operations.
• Manage and lead a team of hygiene personnel, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure the team operates efficiently.
• Oversee the selection and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment, ensuring they meet safety and regulatory standards.
• Monitor and control hygiene-related budgets, ensuring cost-effective practices without compromising on quality.

The person

• Ideally have good knowledge of I.T and Microsoft 365 Dynamic systems.
• Previous experience in creating, implementing, and managing cleaning and hygiene program.
• Knowledge of food machinery dismantling, cleaning and putting parts back together.
• Degree or equivalent in the relevant technical discipline.
• Knowledge of H&S within a business.
• Demonstrable knowledge of COSHH.
