About Us: Join our client to drive the evolution of our Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) environment. I am seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to lead the development and management of scalable and resilient infrastructure solutions, enabling seamless collaboration and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain robust Infrastructure as Code (IaC) processes to provision and manage compute platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse requirements for IaaS solutions.
- Develop and maintain shared software environments using tools like Docker containers and Conda environments.
- Deploy and manage trial implementations on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and private Linux compute clusters.
- Implement and continuously improve security measures to protect data and assets.
- Support platform testing activities and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Required Skills:
- Active SC Clearance required
- Strong expertise in infrastructure development and automation.
- Proficiency in implementing IaC processes and DevOps best practices.
- Experience with system integration and designing resilient interfaces between systems.
- Technical understanding of relevant subject matter, particularly in data science and earth observation.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to stay abreast of industry trends and incorporate relevant practices into work.
- Proven problem-solving skills and ability to find innovative solutions to complex challenges.
- Understanding of information security principles and best practices.
Proficiency in cost analysis and understanding of associated costs linked to proposed solutions
