Your new company
You will be joining a close-knit finance team of 6 in an established Lloyds Broker based in the City and Southend. They are highly respected and this will be an opportunity to take on a new challenge in a warm and friendly team. Reporting directly to the Accounts Manager & Accounts Supervisor, you will be working in a busy environment, dealing with varied tasks throughout the day. Suitable candidates will have circa 5 years\' experience in an IBA role.

Your new role

• Cash Matching & Allocation
• Preparing statements for Underwriters, Clients & Third Party accounts
• Chasing outstanding premium & requesting breakdowns for un-reconciled receipts and allocating to entries once received
• Preparing payment runs for client and underwriters & submitting to Directors for approval
• Running fortnightly credit control reports
• Dealing with bank, clients & brokers\' queries in a timely and professional manner
• Filing of all relevant documentation such as bank statements, remittance advices & correspondence
• General office duties such as answering the telephone, scanning & filing

What you\'ll need to succeed

• Circa 5 years experience as an IBA Accountant
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel and Outlook) or similar software applications.
• Knowledge of Brokasure
• The ability to manage time, prioritise and ensure that deadlines are met without compromising quality.
• Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions.
• The ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing with clients, insurers and other associates.
