SalaryRoles and Responsibilities:
- To support the maintenance of the ICT infrastructure: Hardware, Software and Network
- To ensure all appropriate and relevant software licenses are up-to-date
- To maintain the C2K/EDIS software and managed systems as directed by the Head of Whole School ICT
- To maintain the Mac suite as directed by the Head of Whole School ICT
- To diagnose problems and determine, and if appropriate take necessary steps to solve these problems to maintain school systems and facilities
- To install new hardware and software
- To requisition equipment and consumables with prior approval from Line Manager
- To support the examination systems and to set up and check systems for exam release days
- To maintain and administer the online booking system for all ICT rooms across the School
- To maintain and administer the School’s reception display screen and contents
- To administer and update the content of the RBAI website
- To provide support and assistance for the school’s digital content, social media, website leaflets etc.
- To provide support and assistance to staff queries regarding the use of the school’s hardware and software
- To provide support and assistance to pupil queries regarding the use of the school’s hardware and software, eg, Google Classroom, VLE platforms, online learning resources
- To maintain printers and scanners, including 3D and replenishment of consumables, eg toner/ink
- To maintain the registry and audit of IT Equipment in the school
- To support the digital technology requirement of the extra-curricular activities of the School, eg Gamebreaker, Hudl.
- To provide support and advise staff regarding the use of the School’s audio visual systems
- To provide ICT support for the RBAI Foundation Office, as agreed with the Bursar.
*The School includes the Inchmarlo Preparatory Department.
