Import Clerk required! Are you an experienced with Sea Freight Imports and looking for new role with a family run business that will give you autonomy on your desk?
A busy and well-established Freight Forwarder are looking to add a further recruit to join this fun, family feel office. You must have CDS experience to be considered for this opportunity.
Based in Central Southampton (Ocean Village / Central Bridge area), this company specialise in Sea Freight Imports from the Far East.
This particular role is focused on the company's biggest client - working with the branch manager in supporting with this key client. As already mentioned, whilst not necessarily needing to be a complete CDS expert you will need to have a working knowledge of CDS to be considered for this role.
Given the volume of business from this client you will be also need to be able to demonstrate an eye for accuracy, administration, time management and attention to detail - these play an important part of this role and account.
Joining a team of circa 7 members of staff, you will be working in a fun and relaxed office environment where you won`t be micro-managed.
Maybe a cliché, but work / life balance is important to this company. They do not expect staff to be working late and putting in extra hours continually.

Working hours Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm (all office based)
Salary - depends on experience and upskilling required: £23,000 - £30,000
