Location: Leeds

Hours: Mon - Fri 9:am - 17:30

Salary: up to 35,000

We are currently recruiting for one of the largest privately owned international freight forwarding companies that operate from 9 locations in the UK.

We are seeking a skilled Sea / Road FreightImport Coordinator to join their dynamic team, organising international shipments by sea (LCL and FCL) and road to meet their clients extensive requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in freight forwarding operations, with experience dealing with sea freight or European Road Freight imports, import regulations and customs clearance procedures.

Your key responsibilities as an Import Coordinator - Sea & Road Freight:

• Complete start-to-finish import consignments via sea freight and European Road Freight
• Create bookings from the origin
• Provide freight rates, quotes and pricing solutions for customers
• Liaise with overseas agents, shipping lines, merchant haulage and various carriers
• Track and update shipment statutes in the company's system and provide regular updates to clients
• Complete import customs entries via CDS
• Ensure compliance with import regulations and trade compliance laws
• Cargowise user preferred.
