SalaryRelocruitment are pleased to be partnered with one of the UK’s largest family-owned Removals firms. They specialise in International removals to world wide destinations.
They are now seeking an Imports Coordinator to join their team based in Surrey.
The main purpose of this role is to oversee the end-to-end management of customer consignments, including coordinating transportation logistics, preparing necessary documentation, and ensuring timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management and coordination of customers consignments
- Preparing and obtaining documentation from customers and agents. These will be for all modes of transport i.e. sea/air (FCL/LCL/Shared Container service and airfreight)
- Liaising with suppliers, shipping lines, airfreight agents, brokers, road crews and overseas partners to ensure all aspects of the move from arrival transport, shipping, delivery, and transit schedules are kept within the standard of service the company requires.
- Arranging customs clearance, booking haulage slots with various shipping lines, delivery dates with our road crews, warehouse loading slots, confirming dates with our customers, and sending out-turn and performance reports to our agents following delivery.
- Review and approval of supplier purchase invoices i.e. Broker invoices, subcontractor delivery invoices, specialist equipment invoices.
