Great opportunity to join the in-house tax team of a fast-paced, rapidly expanding Plc, as the business continues to expand into new countries.
You will be responsible for the Direct Taxes for all UK and Irish companies as well as overseas tax compliance, withholding taxes and overseas tax audits. A broad and varied role with a significant commercial aspect.
There is plenty of scope working on a range of tax advisory projects, such tax due diligence and structuring considerations for acquisitions and disposals, corporate simplification projects and group rationalisation. As well as involvement in Group taxation policies and governance projects, SAO and CCO work.
Ideally (ACA/ACCA) and/or ideally a qualified tax adviser (CTA) with experience gained in a large accounting firm ie big 4 /Top 10
Please note that only those applicants who have a legal right to work in the UK and have an appropriate amount of practical relevant UK tax experience will be considered for this role. Additionally, candidates who are already registered with us will be automatically considered for this Manchester in-house tax vacancy or any other relevant Direct Taxes roles.
