In-House Senior Paralegal

Your new company
An international Championship televised across the globe. The Championship is backed by some of the biggest names in sport alongside major investors. The legal team is growing and this is an exciting opportunity to join and influence a great team and be involved in exciting and interesting work.
Your new role
You will initially be joining on an interim contract covering a maternity leave. Once the contract is completed, there is an opportunity that this role may become permanent. The role will be focused on the operational side of the business, working on organising and delivering the events. In order to achieve this, you will be engaging contractors and handling the logistics.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will need to have significant paralegal experience or be a newly qualified lawyer. Further to this, you will need to have experience in procurement and drafting/negotiating commercial contracts. Ideally, you will also have experience handling and negotiating NDAs alongside raising purchase orders. In order to be considered, you will need to be available to begin work at the start of May 2024. You do not need to have prior experience working in the sports industry, but this would be beneficial to your application.
What you'll get in return
This is a chance to work with some of the largest names in sport and be involved in an organisation covered by international media outlets. This will come with a salary of £50,000 pro rata with the opportunity to get a permanent position after the initial contract is fulfilled. The company is flexible in regard to working arrangements and would be open to someone working fully remote (but, ideally, going into the office two days a week). This role down the line will have a chance to become more commercial as the team is expanding, so there will be opportunities to diversify your work.
