What will you be doing?
You'll be completing on-site work, either constructing physical infrastructure within data centres or configuring virtual infrastructure at the client's Corsham offices. You'll provide 3rd Line technical support and resolve complex issues and lead implementation and support of physical infrastructure, ensuring system security, stability, and performance.
We need you to have
- Active SC clearance to start
Key technical Experience in:
- VMWare VSphere
- VCF (essential),
- VMware Horizon / App Volumes (vCenter, vRA)
- Switches and Firewalls
Experience in most of the following:
- Implement and support security enhancements across core systems and infrastructure
- Proficient in network setup, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Skilled in cloud architecture and documentation (HLD, LLDs)
- Understanding of cyber security for hardware and software configurations
- Knowledgeable in private cloud architecture, including Automation, SDN, and resource management
- Familiarity with Group Policy and staying updated on new features and best practices
- Extensive experience in ICT Infrastructure roles, including IP network management
- Design and implement technology solutions, considering future requirements
- Address security vulnerabilities identified through scanning and penetration testing
