Infrastructure Engineer - initial 3 month contract - 100% remote

Job Description
Key responsibilities include;
- Develop and manage IT infrastructure across various platforms.
- Implement and maintain hardware and software systems.
- Ensure optimal performance of IT systems.
- Respond to IT issues, troubleshooting and resolving in a timely manner.
- Work closely with the Technology team to strategise and execute IT projects.
- Ensure security protocols are strictly adhered to.
- Assist in the development of IT policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular system audits and prepare reports.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Infrastructure Engineer should have:
- Virtualisation using Hyper-V technologies Microsoft Server 2016 and above with clustering operating systems
- Microsoft Azure AD and MS Office 365 integrations
- Exchange, Citrix, RDS, MS-SQL, Hyper-V, Veeam, NAS, HP Servers, SANs, Nimble
- Application Patching solutions
- Cyber Security considerations and proven exposure to OS patching
- Trend Security management and CyberArk
- Tenables patch visualisation
- Understanding and adherence to ITIL practices, such as Change, Major Incident and Problem Management
- Cisco switching, Meraki Wifi management and an understanding of Cisco ASA Firewalls
