The Digital Services team at Nottingham University Hospitals are looking for a special individual who can hold the role of Infrastructure Solutions Support Manager.
The post holder will be responsible for managing the Infrastructure Solutions Team who are accountable for the delivery of the end to end infrastructure hosting essential systems and services that meet the demands of our business.
The Digital & Information department holds a vital role in the delivery of many projects and initiatives that drive positive health outcomes for our staff and citizens of Nottinghamshire and beyond.
The role will include, but not limited to:
Leadership
To manage the Digital Services Infrastructure Solutions Team to ensure all server and data storage infrastructure is maintained for optimal performance. Business operations tasks are completed, and project deliverables remain on track.
To be responsible for ensuring that resilience, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans for our server and data storage infrastructure on-premise are robust and meet the requirements of the Trust and other key stakeholders.
To manage and monitor monthly updates figures for the server and data infrastructure, ensuring that security postures are maintained.
Ensure backup and recovery processes are well defined and rehearsed for recovery purposes.
To manage all infrastructure security audits and progress any actions ensuring there is a plan for remediation.
Coach and mentor the team members to ensure they perform to their full potential.

Key working relationships:
1. The post holder will be a member of the Digital Services Operations Team and will work closely with other senior management teams across the Trust in accordance with their requirements.
2. The post holder will be required to establish and maintain a high profile and to ensure that Trust infrastructure guidelines and policies are developed and enacted throughout the Trust.
3. External Relationships will include:1. Regulatory bodies e.g., NHS Digital, NHSX, NCSC and NHS England.
2. Other Health & Care Providers within the Nottinghamshire Community, East Midlands and Nationally.
3. Digital Services Suppliers – current and newly appointed.
4. Professional bodies.
