We are looking for a Microsoft 365 Support Specialist under the End User Services Messaging and Collaboration team, responsible working alongside Delivery colleagues, for the delivery, support, and exploitation of Microsoft 365 capabilities within the Society.

What you’ll be doing

This role will focus on both 3rd Line IT Support (BAU) and project work and span across the M365 technology stack (Teams, Teams Telephony, Exchange, SharePoint, Meeting room and live broadcast technologies). Some of the project work will see you involved in Mail Security and Compliance, M365 Evergreen.

About you

As a minimum requirement you’ll:

  • Have experience of working as a 3rd line support analyst and working across the M365 technology stack
  • Have strong technical experience with administering and troubleshooting Microsoft 365 services (Teams, Teams Telephony, Exchange Online, SharePoint online, OneDrive)
  • Have a high degree of PowerShell knowledge and capability
  • Have exceptional problem-solving skills and demonstrate driving issues to resolution.
  • Be a team player, able to prioritise competing demands and able to cope in pressurised scenarios

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform
  • Basic Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID administration experience
  • Basic understanding of core network technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Microsoft Graph API experience would be highly desirable.
  • Good understanding of Windows 10 and 11
  • Familiarity of ServiceNow
  • A-level or equivalent qualification
  • Microsoft Modern Workplace certification
  • Worked in a large-scale enterprise environment
  • ITIL 4 certified or ITIL experience
