Here at Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service, we have an exciting opportunity for an Instructor to join our team. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £37,336 - £41,418 per annum plus benefits.
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service are not limited to firefighting. We also respond to a wide range of incidents, increasingly those that involve our rescue capability. We also work closely with other emergency services and our local authority partners to deliver an emergency response and protect our communities.

About the Instructor role:
We’re looking for a level-headed, enthusiastic and proactive individual, with instructor qualifications and experience of delivering training relevant to operational fire fighting. This could include driving, firefighting, work at height, water rescue, hazardous materials, trauma care and or incident command.
As our Instructor you will be a key member of the training and development team, working to provide training to both operational personnel and support staff. You will need to be able to think fast and be confident working in a busy environment, presenting, coaching and mentoring situations.
This is a challenging but immensely rewarding position. If you’ve got what it takes, we want you to join us. Support and development will be available relevant to the instructor skill sets. CPD will be maintained and supported for any instructor qualifications.
