Job Title: Insurance Technician
Location:
London (Hybrid - 3-4 days a week)
Salary: £30,000
Key Responsibilities - as follows but not limited to:
- Support the broking team by providing global broker assistance and preparing renewal statistics and documentation for market placement.
- Offer reliable technical support by creating and preparing global market and client documents, particularly focusing on slip production, wording, and clauses knowledge.
- Assist in drafting client evidence of coverage, such as Debit/Credit Notes and related documents, in a timely and accurate manner.
- Generate monthly bordereau and statistics, including loss ratios, earned to incurred, triangulations, and profit commissions.
- Maintain and update internal systems, databases, and workplace to adhere to Contract Certainty and regulatory guidelines.
- Utilise Broking Systems to accurately produce documents and accounting entries.
- Submit Slips and LPAN's to the Bureau (XIS) for signing, and utilize London Market portals like Whitespace, XIS Insurance Portal, IMR, and Lineage to support their role.
- Aid in client communication to promptly address global queries, data requests, and resolve issues to ensure client satisfaction.
- Manage premium payment and pursue the receipts of funds from client to ensure settlement terms/PPWs are met or escalates problems to divisional management.
- Assist with reconciliation of unallocated cash as soon as practicable or escalates the problem to divisional management/accounts as appropriate.
- Maintains thorough and timely records of communication with insurers and with clients in accordance with internal procedures and informs clients and/or colleagues of any developments.
- General Office and Admin duties as requested by the Team
About You:
- Minimum of 6 months experience in the insurance sector in similar technician role
- Ability to prioritise work to demanding deadlines; adaptable to changing priorities.
- Languages:
- English - Native or Full Professional Working Proficiency
- Spanish - Desirable but not essential
