We are Rolls-Royce SMR and we’re doing something that’s never been done before. We’re revolutionising an industry. That’s a once-in-a-career opportunity for those excited by such a challenge. This is more than just a job; this is a legacy.
We are now recruiting for the exciting role of IMS Coordinator, to be involved in the compliance for game changing technology within the nuclear industry.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the Integrated Management System through controlled change management and governance. Through this you will gain exposure to the wider SMR business, engaging with senior level stakeholders. You will also be joining a forward-thinking team who champion creativity and career development. Responsibilities will also include:
• Maintaining and continual improving the IMS user interface tool (currently SharePoint) site to ensure it is up to date, user friendly, and accessible to all employees.
• Producing and updating guidance information related to the IMS and the IMS change process.
• Coordinating and tracking changes to the IMS in line with the IMS change process.
• Managing and maintaining the change and document logs used to track and govern the IMS.
• Communicating changes to the Integrated Management System to the business on a regular basis.
• Capturing and reporting IMS related performance metrics and producing monthly performance reports.
• Supporting the IMS related awareness and training activities.
• Providing support to the Rolls-Royce SMR certification programme and external nuclear regulatory assessments and reviews.
• Supporting other business-related quality initiatives and activities as the organisation continues to mature (customer support, quality activities supporting regulatory process)
Confidence can sometimes hold us back from applying for a job. But we'll let you in on a secret: there's no such thing as a 'perfect' candidate. If you feel you meet 75% of the requirements for this role, we would love to hear from you.
Also, if you are considering a career move or a sector-jump, please get in touch, we welcome applications from people with transferable skills. Skills and previous experience that will be useful for this role included:
• Organisation and planning: managing a large amount of data, information, or documents in a systematic, controlled, and logical way.
• Ability to work and deliver multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Facilitation & communication: ability to communicate verbally and in writing to a large audience in a professional setting.
• Creativity and improvement mindset: ability to identify and implement creative and efficient solutions to improve systems, processes and customer and end user experience.
• Data capture and reporting: skills in excel to analyse and manipulate data and turn it into actionable information.
• Proactive, flexible and welcomes change: able to manage resistance or setbacks to achieve results.
• Any previous experience in using SharePoint and MS Powerautomate would be advantageous for the role.
Pay and Benefits
A highly competitive salary is on offer with a performance related bonus of up to 7%. An attractive pension scheme with 12% employer and 6% employee contributions. You will also receive a flexible benefits allowance of £2,200, enabling you to create a bespoke package to suit your needs.
