Search are excited to be working with a long standing client who require an interim Assistant Accountant to join their finance function on a 3 month contract. This role will be essential for bridging the transactional finance with the finance business partner, looking at key variance analysis. Therefore, strong excel skills, including V-Look Ups and Pivot tables are a must.

Responsibilities:
- Support the Finance Business Partner with their key duties
- Lead on reviewing and closing of the general ledger
- Identify any discrepancies within the required set of accounts
- Perform key variance analysis
- Support the transactional finance function with any ad-hoc requirements
Person:
- Minimum AAT or QBE
- Excellent communication skills
- Relevant experience working within a similar role, within a fats paced environment
- Intermediate - Advanced excel skills, including Pivot Tables, V-Look Ups, SUM IFs etc...
- Strong background completing variance analysis
- Immediately available - Can start on or before 2nd April.
