Job Description
- Manage a small team of surveyors who over see various capital work streams delivered by external contractors
- Coordinate with various teams to ensure service delivery
- Monitor performance of contractors
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions
- Be the lead for future contract planning
- Provide contract-related advice and guidance
- Prepare contractor tender documents pre contract
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of contract management processes
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Contract Manager should possess the following:
- Experience in contract management, specifically in the social housing property sector
- Strong knowledge of contract law and procurement processes
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions
