Job Description
The Hayu Marketing team is a centralised team supporting all markets in which Hayu operates, responsible for driving efficient subscriber acquisition and reducing customer churn. This role is a maternity cover role managing the CRM Team, which sits within the Retention team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, deliver and execute direct marketing campaigns across multiple channels (email, push notification, on-platform messaging) designed to decrease customer churn on a subscription video on demand (SVOD) platform.
- Manage multiple customer lifecycle journey plans (e.g. welcome, retention, content discovery, winback) using behavioural and usage data to drive increased content consumption and drive key retention objectives across web, mobile and TV platforms.
- Brief data & analytics teams on reporting requirements to ensure campaigns are delivering against business & campaign KPIs.
- Work with internal creative teams to scope, plan and manage the execution and creative design of campaigns.
- Develop and implement robust test and learn approaches to inform the development of the long-term CRM strategy.
- Work closely with key stakeholders from the Marketing, Product, Content, Data, Analytics and Operations teams to ensure key customer facing updates are communicated seamlessly and effectively.
Qualifications
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of 5 or more years of experience in multi-channel customer relationship marketing (CRM) with a focus on marketing automation and personalised communication.
- Line management experience essential with ability to mentor and coach junior team members. Agency management experience strongly preferred.
- Multi-platform CRM experience essential and ideally gained within a subscription video on demand (SVOD) service, a similar content subscription service or an online recurring revenue business with a strong engagement focus.
- Demonstrable knowledge of data-driven marketing theory and practice, ranging from control group testing, multivariate testing, segmentation and targeting, campaign management, campaign analysis and audience profiling.
- Strong experience of Braze or similar marketing automation platforms (SFMC, Adobe) with detailed understanding of execution across these platforms.
- Experience of ownership and execution of operational end-to-end multi-channel campaign management from planning to providing regular feedback on campaign effectiveness and performance reporting.
- A team player with excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills with the ability to collaborate across organisational boundaries to proactively deliver projects and make improvements in customer retention.
- Strong creative skills and ability to manage the creative development process whilst balancing creative aspirations with efficient use of limited resources and allocated budgets.
- Self-reliant, resilient, and proactive with a high motivation to make things happen, deliver effectively and efficiently.
