Interim Deputy Financial Accountant

An International Charity in London are seeking a Deputy Financial Accountant to start immediately for 6-8 weeks to cover leave. You will be required to be on site 2 days a week (Tuesday and Thursday ideally).

Main Duties -

• Recording all monthly UK transactions on the finance system.
• Reconciling all UK bank accounts at least once a month.
• Recording the monthly payroll on the finance system and allocating salary expenses to the appropriate campaign.
• Assisting the finance Team with the month-end accounting process, including:

• assist reconciliations of all foreign currency bank accounts at the month-end.
• assist reconciliations of all other balance sheet accounts on a regular basis.

• Recording all monthly trip expenses on the finance system.
• Recording all monthly visa card expenses on the finance system.
• Ensuring all trip expense forms and visa card expense forms comply with their financial procedures, and are correctly authorised.
• Ensuring all payments comply with their financial procedures and financial authorisations, and:

• Ensuring there is a signed Consultancy Contract where necessary prior to an invoice being processed.
• Ensuring the purchase invoice are correctly authorised.

• Ensuring all invoices are properly paid.
• Dealing with all supplier queries.
• Understand the role of the Deputy Financial accountant with aim of standing-in for holiday covers

Experience -

• Recent use of SUN finance system
• Recent non-profit experience
• Full right to work in the UK
