SalaryAlexander Daniels are currently recruiting for an Interim Finance Analyst for 2-3 months working for a high growth private equity backed distributor based in Wednesbury on a full-time basis with the potential for a permanent/longer term opportunity.
The purpose of the role is to support the business in its next phase of growth, supporting commercial analysis whilst also touching on all areas of the P&L.
Key Responsibilities:
The role covers a broad remit engaging with various stakeholders in the business.
- Ensure Sales and Margin reporting and Balance sheet is robust.
- Develop and communicate insight into business performance to drive positive change.
- Input into the Month end process in deriving Commercial margin, pricing variances and stock revaluation.
- Further development of business reporting (utilising BI tool).
- Maintenance of both standard and future costs for products and liaising across departments.
- Support the Budget and quarterly forecasts with insightful analysis.
- Adhoc project work.
The ideal candidate will be actively studying for a recognised accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) and have previously worked in an analytical role with strong Excel and communication skills. You must be passionate for driving business performance and improving insight for stakeholders.
