My client is a Housing Association in London facing regulatory challenges. Recruited on an initial 12-month FTC, the Interim Finance Director (Transformation and Change) will act as the right-hand person to a forward thinking and approachable CFO, who has a clearly defined vision of where the improvements are needed over the coming months.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Lead and execute a comprehensive transformation plan to address regulatory concerns and improve financial processes.
• Provide senior leadership to stabilise the finance team and enhance overall performance.
• Be an approachable and people-centred leader to the Finance team.
• Establish a solid foundation in budgeting, business partnering, and stakeholder engagement to drive organisational success.

This is a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract, offering a rare opportunity to play a crucial role in turning around the fortunes of a Housing Association facing financial and regulatory challenges. The postholder will be instrumental in shaping the organisation's future, both by identifying and executing ‘quick wins’ as well as defining successful longer-term change.

The role is London-based, offering a hybrid working pattern, and the successful candidate will lead from the front and commit to two office days each week.

• Hold a full accountancy qualification with substantial post-qualification experience.
• Demonstrate a strong background in Social Housing Finance.
• Have a track record of successfully delivering finance transformation, change and improvement initiatives.
