Interim Finance Manager (Part-Time) - Charity in Exeter
Are you an experienced Finance Manager looking to make a meaningful impact? I am recruiting for a dynamic charity based in Exeter, seeking an interim Finance Manager to join their team on a part-time basis for 3 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management Accounts: Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
- Financial Control: Implement and maintain robust financial control processes to safeguard the charity's assets and resources.
- VAT Returns: Ensure accurate and timely submission of VAT returns in compliance with regulations.
- Financial Oversight: Take the lead in managing all financial aspects of the organisation, working closely with other departments to ensure financial sustainability.
- Critical Eye: Demonstrate a keen attention to detail and a critical eye for accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
- Team Leadership: Manage a small finance team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective and efficient financial operations.
- Reporting to CEO: Report directly to the Chief Executive Officer, providing timely and accurate financial information to support executive decision-making.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager, preferably within the charity sector.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in using Xero and advanced Excel skills.
- Familiarity with Charities SORP preferred.
