Interim Finance Manager– Construction

Location - Essex 

Duration - 3-6 Months with a potential extension

Salary - £450 - £550 a day via Umbrella 

The Opportunity:

We are excited to share this opportunity as an Interim Finance Manager to join, this thriving Construction business based in Essex. If you are versatile professional with a strong background in accounting, then I would love to hear from you. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts for; including contracting accounting, posting all accruals / prepayments, intercompany reconciliations and postings in line with month end deadlines.
• Support the preparation of BU monthly reporting packs end to end, along with presenting results to BU Financial Controller and FD/MD
• Producing regular financial reports, such as budgets or cash flow forecasts
• Support the annual audit and tax process with timely and accurate information.
• Reconciling balance sheets
• Support the business development team in developing business cases for potential future projects.
• Working with the procurement manager to ensure the purchase book is accurate and up to date
• Process improvements
• Offering advice and suggestions to management that can improve the accounting processes and financial stability of a company

Your Profile:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) 
• Strong client facing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and adapt to changing priorities.
• Operationally facing experience is preferable, working with more operational teams across the business.
• Good excel skills.
