My client, a listed consumer products business requires an experienced Interim Finance professional to deliver a process documentation and Process Improvement project. Based in London this role focuses on the UK division of this multinational organisation.
Reporting to the Head of Accounting this role will focus on documenting existing processes and implementing new ones, some compliance and reporting at month end and also some cost centre management.
With an ERP upgrade planned in 2025 there is a need to document the current month end accounting processes and also to recommend improvements. Some documenting work has been carried out, some of which is out of date and for other processes nothing has been done. The planned outcome for this project is a "clean position" with all processes documented. There will also be some compliance and month end reporting work and an element of supporting the team.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant, ideally from an audit background with experience of working in a large, matrix organisation. You will be a technically strong accountant with good supervisory skills.
This role sits outside IR35 and is offered on a flexible hybrid 2/1 basis. PLEASE NOTE, THIS ROLE IS THREE DAYS PER WEEK.
