Our partner is a leading humanitarian organisation. As a result of a restructure within the organisation, they are seeking an additional interim resource to support them through a restructure and resulting changes in accounting and reporting. This is fixed-term contract for 4 months, with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities
- Support in year-end preparation, including undertaking balance sheet reconciliations, preparing year-end audit schedules and assisting with other tasks as required.
- Lead on designing the monthly management accounts and reporting, as a result of the restructure.
- Support in designing the budget for the new financial year.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant with experience in designing management accounts and reports, and experience in year-end accounts preparation.
- Advanced MSExcel skills, and experience of a range of accounting & IT systems
- Experience of working in an international charity.
Immediate start required. The organisation will be open to a candidate working a minimum of 4 days/week, although full-time work is preferred. They are open to someone working remotely, although this would need to be in the UK. This role is only open to candidates with the right to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship.
