An Interim Financial Accountant is required for a temporary role for an initial 10-12 months for a Public Sector organisation in Sheffield. The successful candidate will Provide day to day leadership & support to the Exchequer & Financial Accounting Teams to ensure objectives are met.

Description

The Key Responsibilities of the Interim Financial Accountant:

• Provide expert financial advice to department managers
• Line management of a small team
• Prepare and maintain financial records
• Dealing with auditors and year end accounts
• Conduct financial audits and implement corrective actions
• Develop and monitor the budget
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations
• Prepare financial reports for management

Profile

The successful Interim Financial Accountant will:

• Have relevant degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards

Job Offer
