Description
- Income statement analysis and reporting including budget variance analysis
- Preparation of Statutory Accounts for 18 entities and Financial Statements reporting pack
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Support with the preparation of monthly management board finance packs
- Assisting with the year end audit
- Assist with the preparation of other internal and external reporting requirements including VAT and Corporation Tax
- Accrual and prepayment reconciliations and analysis
- Liaise wider finance team to ensure that financial policies and procedures are understood and robustly managed
Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
- A full qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBE to the same level.
- Proficiency in major accounting software programs, (exchequer will be highly advantageous)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Solid understanding of financial procedures and legislation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Offer
- £300-£315 per day via umbrella company or £60k equivalent via PAYE
- Hybrid and flexible working model (2/3 split)
- Reading based office
