Interim Financial Accountant

Midlands based company is looking to appoint an interim Financial Accountant to work with them for a 3- 6 month commitment. This role is to assist to catch up on workloads / slight backlog following a recent system implementation & while they recrutie the role permanently.

Key tasks are as follows:

1. Compliance stats need to roll forward & be populated correctly - catch up on backlog & ensure all accurately completed in the new ERP system
2. Collation of tax information to provide external tax consultants
3. Usual ledger maintenance for their various holding companies
4. Processing of journals on a monthly basis
5. Health check on the balance sheet with a review / recommendations to Group FC
6. Run reports in netsuite to prepare the monthly management accounts
7. Review / make recommendations for some changes in current process due to recent new system changes

This role is mainly remote but we do need a fully qualified finance professional who is able to demonstrate excellent technical knowledge & experience. You will be comfortable completing financial statements & disclosures with full explanations as well as working with external auditors & tax consultants. The client requires a candidate who is used to interim roles. can get into a business quickly to understand & add value. This role is insider IR35 scope.
