Midlands based company is looking to appoint an interim Financial Accountant to work with them for a 3- 6 month commitment. This role is to assist to catch up on workloads / slight backlog following a recent system implementation & while they recrutie the role permanently.
Key tasks are as follows:
- Compliance stats need to roll forward & be populated correctly - catch up on backlog & ensure all accurately completed in the new ERP system
- Collation of tax information to provide external tax consultants
- Usual ledger maintenance for their various holding companies
- Processing of journals on a monthly basis
- Health check on the balance sheet with a review / recommendations to Group FC
- Run reports in netsuite to prepare the monthly management accounts
- Review / make recommendations for some changes in current process due to recent new system changes
This role is mainly remote but we do need a fully qualified finance professional who is able to demonstrate excellent technical knowledge & experience. You will be comfortable completing financial statements & disclosures with full explanations as well as working with external auditors & tax consultants. The client requires a candidate who is used to interim roles. can get into a business quickly to understand & add value. This role is insider IR35 scope.
