Interim Financial Controller

JHE & Partners have been exclusively retained to support a very successful retail business in Skipton to recruit an Interim Financial Controller for a 6 month fixed term contract.

Reporting to the Finance Director, we are looking for an experienced Accountant to hit the ground running.

Key duties will involve:

• Overseeing the production of monthly management accounts pack
• Cash analysis and cash-flow forecasting
• Improve processes and systems internally
• Further develop internal reports to drill down into more detailed information, providing a greater insight into the numbers to support commercial decision making
• Support the finance team with escalated queries
• Other ad hoc project work as required in a busy and successful finance function

This is a 6 month fixed term contract and would suit an experienced Accountant who enjoys both day to day accounting and project work. Applicants will have advanced Excel skills, the ability to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders including Senior Management and a constant desire to improve efficiencies within the finance function.
