Interim Financial Controller Hyper-Growth Fashion Brand London (hybrid)Harmonic are delighted to be working exclusively with a high-growth e-commerce retailer in their search for an Interim Financial Controller to join their growing team on an initial 6 month interim basis, with the potential to go permanent.The ClientThe company has successfully grown almost 70% year-on-year, for the last 5 years since being founded. They now have a headcount of circa 70 colleagues with a turnover of £45m and ambitious targets to reach £65m next year. This Fashion Brand is renowned for its values-based approach to fashion; focussing primarily on affordability and sustainability. Having received significant funding and on a promising growth trajectory, they are looking for an Interim Financial Controller to join the company initially for 6 months. Reporting directly into a talented and experienced CFO who has an excellent managerial track record. The working environment is sociable, friendly and dynamic. The team is passionate about the company values and committed to scaling the business. They currently operate a hybrid working model with 3 days in the office and 2 at home per week.Responsibilities
- Manage effectively and develop a finance team of three
- Support with the budgeting and forecasting requirements
- Oversee a smooth month-end process
- Lead on projects, namely around system implementations
- Suggest process improvements and profit driving efficiencies
- Manage the cashflow and billing position
- Providing key points of financial analysis
- Work closely with the CFO on ad-hoc projects
Essential criteria
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
- Exposure to an organisation that deals with Stock
- Excellent communication skills and people management
- Experience with systems implementation or process improvement (ideally NetSuite)
Location: London (hybrid 3 days in office, 2 days remote)
Day Rate: £450 - £550 (Inside IR35)
Length of Contract: 6 months
