Interim German Speaking Financial Controller - Remote

Global Accounting Network are partnering with a tech client who are going through a very exciting period of change and require a German speaking interim Financial Controller to join for an initial 6 month contract.

As the Financial Controller, this position will report into the CFO and be incredibly hands on in overseeing and delivering all year end and month end reporting requirements.

Main responsibilities:

• Production of monthly consolidated financial reports ensuring compliance according to HGB standards
• Preparation of the annual financial statements for the audit
• Be the point of contact for auditors and ensure a smooth process
• Partner with the German finance function to ensure regional tax and financial planning is completed
• Develop best in class processes for finance and accounting, including accounting polices
• Ad hoc finance & accounting tasks

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Accountant
• MUST speak German fluently
• MUST have HGB accounting knowledge
• Ideally has worked in Germany
• Very strong technical accounting and year end experience
