Interim Head Of Finance/ Systems Accountant

This role is for an Interim Head of Finance/ Systems Accountant who will provide strategic financial management for a not-for-profit organisation. The ideal candidate will lead the Accounting & Finance department, ensuring the organisation's finances are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner.

Description

• Leading the Accounting & Finance department and overseeing all financial aspects of the organisation.
• Developing and implementing financial strategies to support the organisation's mission.
• Manage the year end audits and over see year end accounts
• Maintaining and improving financial systems and processes
• Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations.
• Forecasting and planning budgets
• Contributing to decisions regarding financial strategy.

Profile

A successful Head of Finance should have:

• A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Experience in a senior financial managerial position within a not-for-profit organisation.
• Excellent leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Strong analytical, strategic planning and organisational skills.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
