Our partner is a leading humanitarian organisation. As a result of a restructure within the organisation, they are seeking an additional interim resource to support them through a restructure and resulting changes in accounting and reporting. This is fixed-term contract for 4 months, with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities
- Support in year-end preparation, including undertaking balance sheet reconciliations, preparing year-end audit schedules and assisting with other tasks as required.
- Lead on designing the monthly management accounts and reporting, as a result of the restructure.
- Support in designing the budget for the new financial year.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant with experience in designing management accounts and reports, and experience in year-end accounts preparation.
- Advanced MSExcel skills, and experience of a range of accounting & IT systems
- Experience of working in an international charity.
Immediate start required.
Open to a candidate working a minimum of 4 days/week, although full-time work is preferred.
Open to someone working remotely, although this would need to be in the UK.
