Would suit - an experienced Management Accountant, who is hands on, and likely to be Newly Qualified, or Part Qualified, or Stop-studier with plenty of hands on experience!
The successful Management Accountant produces the monthly accounts for this International business, who've recently gone through a period of expansion due to acquisition. Specifically, the individual will pull together regular and ad-hoc reporting for the global business using information provided by other UK entities.
- Responsible for creating the monthly management accounts and working closely with the wider finance team.
- You will be producing a range of reporting including weekly reporting and possibly some cash flow forecasting
- Other reporting including preparing periodic and ad-hoc reports both from the finance system and on Excel. These will support business requirements and finance checks to ensure data is up to date and accurate.
- You will also be responsible for Intercompany reconciliations also.
The successful candidate will either be a seasoned contractor, with a demonstrable track record in preparation of monthly management accounts, or potentially someone who has recently been made redundant from a similar Management Accounting role. You will offer excellent Excel skills (Pivot Tables and V Look ups) be able to work unsupervised and be very hands-on! As this is a rapidly changing environment, we need someone who can work with change and ambiguity.
Initially you will be required to support the Finance Manager for a period of 6 months, with a potential of extension or either permanency at the end of the 6 months.
My client offers superb modern offices and free parking but is also near the main train and bus routes also.
