Description
- Manage Procurement and supply chain operations for the public sector and government department
- Oversee contract negotiations and contract compliance
- Ensure cost-effective sourcing and purchasing of goods and services
- Develop and implement procurement strategies
- Maintain supplier relations and manage disputes
- Comply with NHS regulations and policies
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to overall department goals
- Report to senior management on Procurement and contract performance
Profile
A successful 'Interim Procurement and Contracts Manager' should have:
- Relevant degree or professional qualification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management
- Prior experience in Procurement and contract management, preferably within the NHS
