Interim Senior Project Accountant

Robertson Bell are partnered with a commercially run not for profit organisation in London to recruit an Interim Senior Project Accountant for a 10 month contract. There is the potential to do this role either 5 or 4 days per week depending on your preference. The main responsibilities of the Interim Senior Project Accountant are:

• Lead on the implementation of a new finance systems. This will be from start to finish including the selection of the new system.
• Set up new reporting structures on the new system and ensuring the organisation gets the best out of the systems.
• Work with the Director of Finance on setting up a new group structure for the organisation.
• Identify improvements to policies and procedures following a recent merger.
• Ad hoc budgeting and modelling.

This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outside the day to day of finance taking on specific projects. This role would suit either someone who has done this type of position previously and looking to bolster their experience or someone who is looking to take their career in this direction. No previous sector experience is required however the appointed candidate will:

• Be a qualified accountant.
• Be comfortable working on finance systems.
• Able to adapt and pick things up quickly.
• Be immediately available or on a very short notice period.
