Interim Tax Accountant

Your new company
An exciting and challenging role for an experienced Tax Accountant to support a South Norfolk based commercial business with regarding their Corporation Tax, Interim Tax accounting and capital allowances. They offer flexible working with office-based and hybrid working either on a full time or part-time basis for this 9-month fixed term contract.
Your new role
In this interim Tax role you will be responsible for assisting the Head of Tax with a range of tax related tasks mainly in the preparation of tax returns, preparation of tax accounting provisions & disclosures (IFRS & FRS101) for year-end and interim reporting as well as VAT compliance. A key aspect of the role will involve preparation and submission of their corporation tax returns.

As explained this is commercial business with operational sites across the UK as well as Overseas so a fantastic opportunity for a practice-trained Tax Accountant to use your technical expertise in deliver accurate tax reporting and compliance across the business and engaging with a variety of senior stakeholders as a Tax Accountant / Tax Business Partner type role on a fixed-term contract.
What you will need to succeed
Ideally you will be available at short notice and have proven experience of preparing and submitting Corporation Tax returns for medium to large organisations and be able to give commitment to a 9-month fixed term contract. We expect you to have a CTA, ATT, ACA or ACCA qualification (part or fully) however we will consider applicants qualified by experience provided they can demonstrate the relevant skills required.

This role would ideally suit an individual who wishes to work in a strong dedicated team of liked-minded professionals where you will engage with a wide range of stakeholders as well as demonstrating your background in tax and be comfortable with tax fundamentals.
