ENGIE is hiring a Utility-Scale Renewables Site Design Intern. You will assist with the Site Design capabilities of ENGIE North America’s wind, solar, and battery storage project development platform. You will work directly with ENGIE Site Design professionals to provide support for the growing portfolio of grid-scale projects in North America. You can expect to gain Site Design skills, exposure to current renewable energy policy, and an understanding of wind and solar project development.
What you’ll do:
- Support utility-scale designs using AutoCAD and other software
- Support verification of Site Design criteria
- Support preparing design inputs and constraints
What you bring:
- Have taken college-level courses in civil, electrical, mechanical, or other related engineering with a strong focus on utility-scale renewables design.
- At least a junior or senior (by end of spring semester) working toward a Bachelor’s degree in civil, electrical, mechanical or other related engineering programs, or a graduate student with experience in a closely related field
- Strong skill in AutoCAD
- 3.0 GPA or higher
- Be able to work at least 10 hours per week
- Experience in using Pvsyst, Sift, PVCase or other similar tools
- Eperience with MS Excel macros, VBA scripting and Python scripting skill

Compensation
Salary Range: $21.00-$34.00 USD, hourly
