I am working with a client in Normanton to recruit an Internal Account Manager that will deliver a high-level of service to all potential and existing customers whilst increasing sales, product lines, profitability and developing long-term business relationships. In addition to developing new business and maximise sales through proactive telesales calls.
Key activities will include developing new business (prospecting/switch activities), customer development (activation/retention/contracts/terms), increasing \'share of wallet\' (preferred supplier/maximise spending), marketing support (outbound promotions/ maximising take-up).
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
- Identifying new business opportunities at all times and prospects for new business every day through outbound telesales activity
- Identifying opportunity to quote and send on the same day
- Proactively increasing the product range sold to each customer
- Understanding and fully utilising sales tools provided in order to maximise the full potential and spending of each customer
- Achieving an initial gross profit margin
- Achieving initial new business sales target
- Achieving increased sales of an agreed percentage of existing customers
- Ensuring all computerised records are kept up to date
- Following and achieving weekly and monthly objectives
- Actively supporting all marketing campaigns/outbound promotions by maximising take up where possible
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- 2 years\' experience in a similar role would be beneficial.
- Proficient in accurately pricing, maximising profitability whilst protecting GP%
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office for Windows (Outlook, Word and Excel)
- The ability to multitask, be organised, agree priorities and meet deadlines
- The ability to adapt to change
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Sound knowledge of the customer base, customer needs and sales cycle are the advantages.
- Excellent knowledge of product, competitor and dealer network desirable
