Internal Account Manager - Manchester
Internally based sales role in the new head office at Trafford Park
The Role: This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious, target driven, competitive B2B sales person, with a proven track record in account management and a flair for new business, to join the UK's market leading provider in the security technology sector! This is a truly varied role targeting a wide range of sectors. Your prospective clients will be any business where they have individuals in a 'lone worker' environment.
- Selling the companies award winning portfolio of body worn cameras & lone worker safety solutions, key targets for you will be the likes of the NHS, Police, Local Authorities, Government, Charities, Retailers, Logistic & Transport businesses, utilities companies and events organizations, and your time will be split between managing an existing account base, ensuring that retention and growth is achieved, and seeking out key decision makers within a prospective account base to establish new relationships.
- Dealing with decision makers from Director level to Security Managers you will need to be adaptable in your approach to suit the customers level of seniority.
- Initially this role will be based from the company's brand new head office in Trafford Park, so you will need to be based within a commutable distance, however within 6-12 months there are opportunities to progress into a more senior level, field based sales role where you will be home-based.
- You will need to be highly organised, structured, and self-motivated with the ability to manage your own time effectively, booking meetings via Teams through a range of outreach methods.
Requirements: To be considered for the Internal Account Manager role you must:
- Have a minimum of 12 months prior experience within a B2B sales/Account Manager role
- Ideally currently be working in an internally based role, but field based individuals will be considered.
- Demonstrate high success rates in new business wins & customer retention.
- Show strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Be a consultative & structured salesperson.
